I just noticed the Sheriff chasing the two jailbreakers in that teaser for Horrors of the Black Museum is really Gary Cooper, pilfered from a Man of the West ad.

Love the WRECKING CREW ad. As listed, I saw it at the Grove Theatre on opening weekend. I was 12-years-old and a rabid secret agent fan. I went with a friend who was also into superspies. The Grove was a large single-screen theatre, complete with balcony. I have no idea how many it could seat, but I'm sure it was a lot. With this in mind, it was very strange for my friend and I that Saturday afternoon: we were the only ones in the audience for WRECKING CREW! Sad to say, Matt Helm's appeal with the general public had deteriorated with each new movie. Nonetheless, it's still cool, and offers some of the most breathtaking footage of Elke ever filmed.

TERRIFIC site! What a lot of memories these old newpaper ads bring back! AND (not to mention) the theaters that they originally played at (most, if not all, LONG gone now)!
I'd LOVE to see newspaper ads from "Journey To The Center Of The Earth" "The Lost World (1960)" and "Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea"......I recall those as being fabulous!

Keep up thet great work!

Best,

Brad
